That Jodeci Freestyle session is insane

They were songs for Gen Z new gen fans of Carti and Yeat, Daylight , IDGAF and Rich Baby Daddy all streamed very well. Drake won't make a fully focused album because his audience is so huge and he always wants to keep the younger demographic and doesn't want to drop a 'dud'. Jimmy Cooks on HNVM was an example too.

Forreal. Wasn’t a fan of the album immediately because of that and especially after what P2 was, total shift.

But enjoyed it a lot more over time.

It’s interesting to watch how Drake has kind of evolved his style rapping wise. Seeing the CLB sessions with the Piece of Me song, the Mos Def sample song give off that more MC, flowy, clear cut, sample heavy vibe. Then seeing the Her Loss stuff with the catchy, bouncy, cadence type flow is dope. I’m glad he finds ways to reinvent his style. I will admit though, the more sample heavy, MC, CLB rap Drake might be my favorite style of his now that I’m watching a lot of this footage. I do appreciate thought that he can do really anything and make it sound good
