Do you have any prior works that have been produced? Do you know anyone who works in film, no matter how big or small?

It’s all about making initial connections and working from there. It’s almost unheard of someone with zero experience or connections pitching a script to a big studio

i mean you could just send your scripts in to the movie studios. they receive hundreds of scripts a day but are always looking for a diamond in the rough. if i were you tho, besides moving to LA and finding any kind of work in the movie industry to pursue my dreams, i'd do the following:

    1. make a list of your top 50 movies from the past 5 years and find out who their producers and writers were, should be around 150-200 people

    2. find their contact info. profiles on instagram, emails, mailing address, whatever.

    3. write to them saying you're looking for advice on how to break into the industry OR you're willing to intern for them and give them fresh new eyes on screenplays tailored to your generation

    4. you'll maybe get 1 or 2 responses with some advice.

    5. repeat steps 1-4 with your next top 50 movies

    6. ?????

    7. make your movie, win oscar, shoutout ktt

Shouting out KTT is key OP
You are unlikely to see sustainable success otherwise

Yeah I know some people but I want an executive producer credit for any script that is optioned, and a producer credit for my pal Danny here.
