few game exclusives, and some towns/cities are diff. black is more hi tech. white is more naturey. but there's only like 2 places where that changes. and ofc, diff legendary. in bw2 you can catch both box art legendaries

i played white and then black 2. neither are better than the other, just pick the legendary that looks cooler to you.

F*** I’m trying to collect all the great Pokémon games I played when I was young but I never played BW / BW2 and this thread is convincing me to hunt them down

i should try playing BW2 again one day cuz i just did not get into it when i bought it last time around.

Play it in an emulator first then before you spend money on it, it's one of the more expensive Pokemon games outside of og gen 1 & iirc also 3rd gen.

In times of great nostalgia, or immense soul-finding... I’ll boot up either Yellow, Crystal or Emerald. Depending on which Region I want to play.

Also, the Orre region NEEDS to be revisited. A sequel to Colosseum & XDGOD, like Snap reboot.

Those are your best bets. It's never getting an official port or remake. They didn't sell well. It's only one real spinoff Game Freak/TPCi really care about and that's Mystery Dungeon. There is even talks of TPCi preparing to pull out the mobile market because the mobile games are all doing horrible. Even Pokemon Go isn't doing as well it was.

I had some credit at a local brick and mortar store and was able to cop it. Hunting down Emerald is miserable though which is a shame because I played that one the most growing up.

i just found my old gameboy and have been playing the OG red (its amazing and nostalgic )

im gonna use an emulator to play another one next, should i just jump to emerald since its apparently one of the best? i dont know s*** about any of the pokemon beyond the original ones tbh
