Yeah it’s a “good boy” mentality that makes people who maybe think about doing the right thing fall in like. Even that is not a valid excuse in my eyes however. Your coworkers should be holding each other accountable especially in public service lines of work. Every time something like this happens it becomes abundantly clear that we are nowhere close to where we need to be in reform
