The WizardNo matter how bad it is, Black people will never stop supporting this s*** ... Because they fear of losing their identity and one of their only voice in pop culture. Many black folks think black culture start and end with hip-hop. When the most beloved, respected and revered black musicians were flourishing in other music genres : Hendrix, MJ, John Coltrane, Miles Davis, Bob Marley etc.
We'll never have legends like that until at least a very long time, because sadly rappers became the blueprint of the successful black musician. They're many rappers that i actually enjoy but hip-hop becoming this big was one of the worst thing that happened to black art, it overshadowed a lot of great stuff.
