i'm a graudating poli sci major going to law school. would recommend law school just bc the fact that you can go for free (with stipends) is very slept on if you got the stats. but realistically you can apply for jobs pretty much anywhere if you got a high enough gpa. some jobs my poli sci friends are taking/have taken:

    consultant
    working for lobbyist (yuck)
account exec at a start up
    political consulting

doing well in poli sci generally indicates the ability to write well at the very least which has a lot to do with the ability to articulate your thoughts. it's not a useless major like a lot of people are saying itt. if you already have a paid internship for this summer you should be in a good spot to make some connections

Realistically there are a lot of opportunities out there for you though. May take a bit more leg work and networking but don’t let ppl make you think your degree is bad. Far from that

  • Jul 22, 2022

Basically you can be a teacher or work for a campaign.
