I like both von Trier and Yorgos but the House that Jack built is the worst movie Trier has ever made. And every single movie Yorgos has ever made is far superior to the house that jack built

Would say Jack is the best movie he’s made from what I’ve seen. Takes the self serious edginess that usually is a fault of his recent string of movies (antichrist, Nymphomaniac) and turns it into a straight auto critique comedy.

Yorgos wish he made something with as much skill or self awareness as that. His movies are just pretentious Kubrick attempts that moreso pass off for a B side episode of the twilight zone rather than the Lars Von trier complement he tends to get called
