In the song welcome to the party Pop Smoke says "bitch im a thot, get me lit".

Now at first I thought it was just a cool funny bar. But after listening to the song many times (at least 33-37 times) i've came to the realization that the line has deeper meaning than what you make of it at surface level.

Woman today are "slut shamed" for being "thots" when in truth they should not be put down for wanting to have s***just as much as men. Women should feel liberated with their sexuality and enjoy themselves.

The idea that men are cool for having s***with tons of girls and women are hoes or thots is one that has been a troubling double standard for a long time.

I think Pop Smoke flipping around this double standard to show that men too should be considered "thots" for having s***with women and "getting lit" is an extremely commendable stance for him to take on gender politics. Good on him, its really made me a fan for life.
