smoove l the same age i think
who's left that has a promising future?
Man it’s weird that the prior generation (Drake, Cudi, Sean, Kendrick, etc.) didn’t have nearly as many deaths in their early days as this one. At least none that I can recall
That was the 808s/EDM era everyone was on positive s*** then even though the music was trash
Chill b
It’s just an assumption. He still had one foot in the streets. The music was a reflection/glorification of gang culture. I’m assuming any mother whether she’s receiving profit from it has atleast a little concern.
And now he’s dead. Any mother would trade all the fame/fortune for time with their child.
But chillax ahki ain’t nobody trying to debate
I dont think he wouldve been better off w two feet knee deep in the streets
Rap is so f***ed. There's no genre of music or interest in general where mainstream names just up and die or get murdered like this. I might have criticized his art, but I was checking for it. Meet the Woo Vol 1 was a big record and deserved to be. Expected him to be around a lot longer to prove me wrong.
ive been thinking this all day. Not just die but straight killed. so f'd up man. What other genres goes through this

Chicago didnt exist apparently but on a mainstream level i see you
Honestly rap can’t keep taking these blows
Who left thats young ?
We got a lot honestly. The biggest young hope in the next generation for hip hop is YBN Cordae without a doubt.

America is really the most dangerous place in the world
fam it's 3rd world countries that literally have no government, corrupt officials, and folks can't even go outside without being mugged.
Heard about his death while I was at school, bro was about to be the next NY superstar RIP to POP.

Yh but even the gangsta rap at the time what huge killings were there? Even if there was one or two the rate we are at now is crazy and it wasnt like that then
Whats happened? I dont want to take the easy way and blame social but it seems like its very much.
Before all you saw of artists were MTV/BET interviews, videos and magazines. You had literally no idea where they were at at any given time. Now you can know every detail
