They probably savin the drill for the deluxe 50 made this ode commercial to hold down his fam the deluxe gon be for the streets
i’m glad you get it
Off first listen, tbh, this is ok,idk why they put so many love songs at the tail end of the album but f*** it. A lot of potential in the tape was shown but none of it really seems to be realized,I will say the sound on here is unique and sound NY in ways
6/10
This album is like 2000s NY mixed with 2000s R&B with a hint of modern drill & trap.
and it with this is amazing
How?
They’re milking off his legacy while it’s still here. Lots of songs are just commercial gimmicks and the features are the industry’s top shelf garbage. This album is just watered down pop smoke made for mainstream success

You know pop was actually working on a good bit of these songs before he died?

I know, but I also know that he wouldn’t take this super commercial approach to his output. Album lacks his signature altogether. It’s such a shame that all these unfinished songs ended being the mess that this album is
I can listen to meet the woo 1 and 2 back to back, but this s*** right here just screams exploitation

Songs got released so fans can listen to them. What’s exploitation about that? Fans get product and label/family gets money. Everyone happy. Looks very fair and reasonable to me

Did he personally tell you that he wouldnt release this kind of album? Also he was expanding his sound, so as much I love his drill music, Im glad I can hear his versatility on this project
you're telling me pop smoke team got all those crazy visuals for album cuts but couldn't come up with something better than the virgil cover first?
and what a coincidence the new cover fits the videos aesthetic

That s*** was not no troll. You think Virgil wanted to be the butt of the jokes all year?

It totally goes against the entire aesthetic they set up with the singles.
Just doesnt seem like that s*** could've ever been seriously considered as the cover.
