  • He was bringing a new sound to NY. He would’ve bridged the gap between the UK and states. A hitmaker with his 50 Cent style of cadences. It’s a shame we couldn’t see him reach his potential

he had the flow the charisma the songwriting the fresh new sound idk if it's his passing making me overrate things but he could have been a superstar like a 00s rapper

The album sealed that he was the next wave in hip hop. There’s really no one else like him left in the drill scene. Sheff G comes closest imo.

  • Jul 12, 2020

Sheff, Fivio, and 22Gz are all hard but come no where close to the potential that Pop had

Bruh really solved the New York problem. His style was derivative of his area but still contemporary enough to be loved by all. All the while having the aggression and presence of a typical New York artist.

Fivio based on popularity will probably try to fill that void. While he has more “bars” then Pop, he lacks the versatility.

I'm crying. Pop Smoke of all artist for 'unmatched versatility'
