And you need to get a job, right? Then you need to be able to save up without having something affect your savings, right? Then you need to find someone selling a car at that price, right? Then you have to buy it, and hope it doesn't break down (because we're all aware of the type of cars at the $2K- range).

There are a lot of people I know who don't own their own cars by 21. There's a lot of factors that can affect people's lives' differently.

Where you live, you might be able to find a okay car in that price range. Doesn't mean the same for everywhere else in the country.

i hate niggas like you. why are so bad at planning? you can get equipment later, plus you had somebody counting on you to uphold your commitment.

My savings never exceeded 1.2k and it got spent on a car because it’s a necessity. Someone is always selling a car for a deal you got to hunt that motherfucker. And yeah there will always be problems just got to pray you can save up some for a part or 2 in case it does that’s life

I tried to make it work for a year but it was holding me back and getting expensive

School was an hr away, also had a part time job as a Pizza Hut driver and then manager...needed the money so I would work right after school..then after work stay up to do schoolwork and then orders...would fall asleep while driving sometimes or take naps inbetween classes in my car I was exhausted

It was a lot and I never found a way to juggle it all ...never wanted to lie to my parents about it but they would get mad at me if I would skip school to finish a big order so I knew they wouldn’t understand
