Found a mini doc on him during thr point when lots of blogs were making stuff to do right as covid began. Was tryna stop smoking as a asthmatic so went on multiple walks a day and listened to nothing but his first album.

CulpritI love Porter, think he’s incredibly talented, seems like a really great person, and his music is great....but man, I just did not like his new live show at all. I thought his live “Worlds” set & Virtual Self set were much more interesting and cohesive.
tbh they’re just built different for different purposes imo
the dj shows lend themselves more to creating a natural catharsis. it’s just part of the format and inherent understanding from the audience. so the impact is almost impossible to avoid.
i think the nurture show is by far more cohesive in concept, but it works as providing individual pieces that create a breadth for its concentration.

It’s also just hard to follow up a 10/10 album with a video game soundtrack song, even if this is the best video game soundtrack song I’ve ever heard
