I know ppl on KTT loved throwing the word industry plant on everyone but I acctually think i'm onto something.
This artist is called Puku, I discovered him while browsing through Instagram and I got a lot of ads for his song "Think of You"
as you can tell by the comments, a lot of people seemed to have found him the same way but what really suprised me is that he had over 100k views so he must have either spent a lot on Instagram ads or somethign bigger is behind it. I decided i'd do some digging and this is what I came across.
Youtube: Only has Think of You uploaded with aprox 150k views in 3 months
Streaming: Has 2 songs on streaming "Blue" and the song previously mentioned
Twitter: Was scrolling down his twitter and found something quite interessting. Account was created in 2013 but his oldest tweet dates back to nov 2018. his first three tweets are just blank white images. A lot of timejumps inbetween his tweets until he dropped Think of You (AUG 2019). Could it be that the label wanted him to start over and clear evidence of old songs? His "very first song" also seemed to get a lot of love from media blogs like elevator and a lot of diff people (go check his retweets from that time period)
Soundcloud: Now here is where my theory of the label cleaning up his music comes into place. Unlike his catalog on streaming, there is another song uploaded on his SC from 2 years ago. If you check the comments you see ppl from a couple months ago mentioning songs like "Now" and "Flow" which are nowhere to be found on his page.
Instagram: Small observation but first picture uploaded around the time Think of You dropped
FINAL TAKE: My theory is that he signed some sort of industry deal possibly to a label and they are now trying to push the agend that his very first song made him big. It would be very odd for him to drop songs for 2 years and then randomly spend literal thousands (a ad that is widespread like this on IG literally costs that much) on getting his song popping + delete evidence of past work. Also this may be random but he sounds a lot like frank ocean and well Think of you = Thinkin bout you...
Let me know what you think

no worries bro i defo feel the theory tho there's way too many people out in the industry these days these plants stand out like a sore thumb
being an industry plant shouldn't be seen as a crime when KTT(2) users cry "move to creative sxn" to genuinely talented KTT artists who just want some more listeners.
Y’all niggas need to learn how to plant yourselves on ktt a little better. There’s a strategy but I charge for that.
