Yo, so music is very important to me. Potentially the most important non-living thing in my day to day life. However, I have recently found myself mostly disinterested with any of the music I own or typically enjoy. I have only had legitimate music burnout like, twice in my life this far but this feels similar.
I am a daily lurker here but rarely ever post. Y’all always come through though. I guess all I’m asking is for y’all to share some of what y’all are spinning atm. Share the stuff you go back to, or some of the stuff you are maybe nervous about sharing typically, I love that s***.
A short rundown on my typical taste:
-heavy hip-hop head, lover of R&B, Jazz, and electronic/dance (Kaytranada, Rochelle, Kelela type)
-recent rotation has been MIKE, D’Angelo, Rochelle Jordan, Brent Faiyaz, shame
-I listen to between 2-4 hours of music/day on average
-Spotify user but willing to try Apple Music or other platform as well.
-Discovery is my favorite aspect about music
First thing I can say is take a break from listening to music for a bit. Will drop recs soon tho

Yeah I think that’s where I’m at rn. I’ve actually been on a two day break. My days are like 15% more dull tho, I really looked forward to my music
I honestly relate alot with this, my buddy and I made a discovery playlist recently, I will pm you it!

When I personally end up in a zone like that I usually change my approach in the way I listen music. It can be done in so many ways…i remember years ago I found myself doing a sort of 70s music marathon I used to listen to some projects like I live in the fcking 70s
Its kind of like sex, if you get stuck, get creative fam, it helps.
