I'll need to rewatch, but I think I agree with you I saw it as a darker, gloomier version of Freaks and Geeks and after hearing their plans for Season 2 of that show, I'm glad that didn't happen

Hella fun show once it found its groove mid season 2.
They rushed the final season (was still good tbh) but seasons 3 and 4 some of the most enjoyable TV I've ever sat through.

I like Krysten Ritter. Cautiously in.
