We been talking so much about tours selling and not selling, but why nobody talking about the quality of any of these shows? We should be more proactive & supportive and/or critical of the artists that we do f*** with (if we can afford to)

So here's a thread, post about recent shows of any artist you've been to. Whether it's a positive or negative experience, all feedback is allowed!

Last night: Paris, Texas ( )
    Cost: $37 (presale)

Their DJ opened up with a 45 minute set and bro was fire. Exactly what you'd expect for a PT Dj, that nigga transitioned a boy anonymous track into some mcr/mid 2000s rock song like flawlessly and had the whole crowd (a proportionally mixed bunch oddly enough, shout out to Brooklyn) JUMPING. Lot of variety (I keep forgetting some of these Keem songs go hard in the bigs) and he was very charismatic with the crowd. Ended the set with that Rxk Neph song about religion which gave the staff a chance to clear the stage for the PT.

Speaking of, the stage design was wild, s*** was some spacey mars s*** I was hyped immediately. After a while, the lights went out and these niggas came out and was on 10 the whole show.

I was on the sides at the beginning (with exception of hopping into the moshpit when the DJ played hillbillies during his set), but ( @Goldmenace404 make sure you hydrated) you'll feel COMPELLED to jump into the pit. I jumped in during Airbourne and never left.

When I tell yall these 2 niggas had the crowd jumping for damn near the whole show, I'm not lying. They literally gave us like a "moment of silence" to calm down and catch our breaths cause we was that crazy. The whole crowd was day 1s too they was with all the BA and Red Hand Akimbo tracks too that they was playing.

AND THEN KENNY MASON (one of my fav new rappers, 9 one of my most anticipated albums. So sad he pushed it back) CAME OUT FOR DND AND WE WENT UP AGAIN.

They ended with they last 2 songs from Mid Air as a come down (yo, we really sung tf out of "Ain't No High Like This One"). And afterwards we screamed encore for 4 straight minutes. Then they came back to rock it for 20 more minutes They finally closed out with Heavy Metal and that was it. I left there with my feet in PAIN cause m 29 y/o ass gettin too old for these mosh pits lmao.

Just great energy, great performance from both of em, great breath control (ESPECIALLY that nigga Felix with the bucket hat) and was definitely worth the $37. So glad I bought into this group at the right time. Inspiring as an artist.

    Post your concert experiences!

Went to my siblings chorus concert

A ragtag band of novices. Most couldn't hit the right note. Lots of mumbling during dialogue. The theme was movies, but kids don't even care about movies. The theme should've been Youtube. Kids love Youtube.

Someone fell off of the risers and hurt themselves which caused a big delay. An obese guy with a single $5 hanging out of his pocket tended to them. They were okay and everything proceeded as normal. The risers should probably have railings.

The solo dancing portion was the highlight. Some kid in big Jordans with a perfect fade was doing Chris Brown moves while a dweeb was breakdancing. Heartwarming.

$0, appropriately priced. Basic seating with fold out chairs in the auditorium. A mom there clearly didn't mind as her BBL had basically left her disabled. Quite the waddle on her.

    5/5

Saw The Cud in September last year, on a Tuesday at that. I got the tickets for free cause a fellow KTT member’s friend had no one else to go with so I said f*** it might be the last time i will ever see cudi perform before he blows his brains out

It was stormy all day and I got some pocket shots after work and hopped on a hour train ride to get to the venue. Each stop more and more fans was hopping on

Meet with these two girls and they were cool we was just talking about Kanye/Cudi, Flog Gnaw while I was just throwing back shots with other ppl we saw hop on

Got the venue & met up with the dude that got me the tickets and things went smooth we were just buying beers

These girls sat with us and we were just mingling and talking about songs he’d play etc

Cud comes out and i was surprised by the turnout considering everything

Show itself was good I just wish I went with my friends instead of a stranger but he was cool & I finally met a KTT homie afterwards, too bad I was hungover the whole next day

I went to a goth bar and they had a live band playing some death metal.

Unfortunately the stage, and the bar, and the audience area were all in one spot and it was a small as hell so when they started playing it was like

Death Grips concert. It was great. Dudes be acting too much like groupies and be rushing the stage to take pictures and videos and s***. Worst part is these are the dudes who be like 6'5, and are easily capable of standing in the middle or the back and record s*** no problem.

No problem with people recording or being on their phones at the show. They paid for a ticket, they can do what they want. But get the f*** out the pit and stop b****ing about people bumping into you. It's a Death Grips concert. If you can't or don't wanna hang get off the floor or stand to the side. Feel like this has been a problem with concerts for a minute, even moreso since concerts started back up post-pandemic.

All this aside, the concert was still great. Smelled like absolute s*** though. But that's to be expected with all the moshing and sweaty bodies around in a pretty small space.

    50 puts on a F***ING SHOW man

costume changes, no back track, pyrotechnics, dancers, jeremih on the piano, full band, teleporting across the stage and s***. Played almost every song I wanted to hear, but even the songs I didn't really care for were hitting. F***ing great experience. Everyone on the site should've tried to make it to the tour. S*** was special

also having Bustah open was f***ing awesome. seeing him do Put Your Hands Where My Eyes Could See had me so hyped had me jumpin when he did Scenario

brought out paul wall and slim thug

but maybe the wildest thing for me...

    Seeing Scarface perform

so happy to see him on stage after his issues with covid.

Saw Beach House, New Jersey Symphony performing A New Hope score, Goo Goo Dolls, a Portuguese Opera, Jai Paul, Yeat, Beyoncé , Danny Brown + JPEGMafia & 50 Cent In the last year and a half or so.

Beach House on 🍄 was unforgettable the guitar felt alive and Victoria’s posture and presence was so demanding despite the laid back output. Great light show

A New Hope was fire. First time I’ve ever seen an orchestra live so me and the lady got dressed up, much to our surprise it’s mainly regular old heads dressed casually. They seemed to admire or respect the fact we arrived overdressed though lol. The audio was clear and the movie playing on a projector made for a very entertaining time

Goo Goo Dolls was pretty spectacular in a way I didn’t expect. I took an invitation and had a really low bar as I’m not really into them, but a few “oh THEY made this song” moments, the company of friends, a really devoted crowd and some drinky drinks made it an unforgettable time. A family behind us were salty they couldn’t see because they chose to stay seated. Sucks for them

The opera was funny . Good acting and singing but we had no idea it was going to be in a retirement home

Jai Paul… life changing . His new song on 🍄 levitated my soul and helped me cope with a recent passing in the family . That man is amazing and I will support him no matter how much of a fleeting figure he may be

Yeat was TOOOO FUN. First show I’ve been to with a childhood friend and we kept getting lost in the crowd . Left sweaty and messy

Beyoncé was cool. I like her music but the real treat was seeing my girl so happy. That lady is a machine though, 3 hours of performing didn’t end til 1am and it felt like a kaleidoscope of time. So many era defining hits back to back plus most of Renaissance was really a reminder who exactly BEYONCÉ is

Danny Brown & JPEG was a fire performance but a bit too crowded for a show to be with my lady at. A bit uncomfortable unfortunately and sweaty idiots kept coming to my proximity spinning around looking like Crash Bandicoot trying to find a way to escape the pit

50 Cent …. What he said ^^^^ real megastar experience. being young when 50 was at his peak and seeing the Graduation incident in middle school caused me to forget he was THAT DUDE.

Going to see Beyonce at the end of this month can't wait

Since the pandemic ended, I've seen Isaiah Rashad, Beach House, The Strokes, Earl Sweatshirt, Kaytranada, LCD Soundsystem, and some others at a festival.

Then on tour RHCP, Thundercat, the strokes again, Weyes Blood, Larry June, The Cure, and 50 with Beyonce at the end of the month

will post more from the other shows at another time cuz there were a few really special ones

was definitely lot of phones at the paris texas concert too. But niggas wasn't mad if they got bumped into there.

We actually picked somebody up that slipped and fell during one of the moshes too (and tried to call out when a couple of us found a lost phone on the ground. Was a very much kind crowd despite the aggressive moshing )

I'm crying that you mentioned Crash Bandicoot these sound amazing lmao. The opera would've prolly had me falling asleep (not a diss, I was forced to go to 2 when I went to my alma mater and that's legit what happened lmao)

  • I'ma talk about my Badu/Yasiin Bey + Black Thought + Pharoahe Monch + Talib Kweli at the MSG experience soon because THAT was definitely one of the best concerts a nigga ever seen in my f***ing life.

@iamiguel MAN I HATE you (and here's why) because all my homies that went to the one in prospect park this summer and the clips from that show looked f***ing EXCITING as f*** and I was busy that night

The worst part is I'm legit a bigger Knxwledge fan than my homeboy who texted me "yo what is this one song he played it had a female rapper freestyle at a radio" and I INSTANTLY knew the answer man I should've been there.

    Biggest regret.
