TheklawT-pain recorded akons “locked up” version and called it “fucked up”. It was so bad that Akon personally pulled up on him to confront him, but at that time t-pain was flipping burgers at Burger King and Akon felt bad for him so he signed him to his label. This is the polished version but what he recorded was apparently horrible. There’s also an interview about it with Akon and tpain

When Gucci Mane first discovered Migos he told them to come to his studio
One of them was in jail at the time don't remember which one so one two of them came
Gucci looked at them and they were wearing fake ass chains
He signed them on the spot and told them none of his signees can wear fake chains so he took two chains of his own neck and gave them to the Migos
Later that day one of Gucci's friends started shouting to Gucci "Yo those kids you invited here threw they fake s*** in the trash"
and Gucci thought he was just f***in with him
But then he stood up went to the hall and there were fake chains laying in the trashI always liked this story
Also I think Migos had a bit of a feud with Gucci over him exposing this s***
