Sufjan recorded all of his vocals on Illlinois in his bedroom with lowfi equipment

Also Warner Brothers didnt allow him to have superman on the cover so on streaming and in new editions he isnt on it like he was on the original cover

Taken from nas first wife book:

Nas used to have weird episodes where he'd jet and no knew where he was, she said she found him in an appartment he secretly had in Long Island jus writing mad rhymes with pages everywhere

the reason Nas was unfocused during the Nastradamus recording was because that's when he found out about her cheating on him with Jay

she said that when she was with Jay he'd ask her weird questions about her and Nas, like what positions Nas liked to hit, and weird stuff... she said Jay-Z was obsessed with Nas but Nas hated jay from day one

    Lmaooo wtf

Before 2pac die he was finna peace it up with rappers from the east coast and south. Had collabs with outkast, nas also I think, planned for this album called One Nation

Hov was a nas stan, and the whole beef started cause nas thought hov was a creep, Hov wanted nas in a video, but nas skipped out on it

Blonde was finished or mostly finished like a year after channel orange, and frank carried the files on a usb that was on him at all time to prevent it leaking

Ye planned on revamping the music selling industry by dropping pablo as a usb instead of cd and streaming

3k was originally on b**** dont kill my vibe

How We Do beat by Game and 50 was one of Dre's old beats sitting on his computer, the engineer was playing beats and when Dre left to the bathroom (or some s***) he played this one, and then 50 started singing the hook right away

    Hit*story ever since

    50 hooks >>>

    Ok fr though...

TPAB was originally going to be called Tu Pimp A Caterpillar, spelled like TUPAC.

2014 FHD was originally going to have features from Future, Yasiin Bay and Krazie Bone.

A Tribe Called Quest & OutKast were planning a collab album together for after “We Got It From Here...”

Biggie and Jay-Z were planning on forming a manifesto rap supergroup called “The Comission” with Diddy and a couple other Bad Boy affiliates.

Jay-Z initially tried to pursue Aaliyah before Bey, but backed off after seeing how much Dame Dash cared about her.

When Biggie met MJ for their collab, he broke down in tears in front of him and kept his composure just enough to tell MJ how much his music meant to him.

    Last fact hit me somehow

Sounds too good to have been written by Mid Sean, it was probably written by one of Ye's weed carriers like GLC and Rhymefest

Layne Staley and Kurt Cobain died on the same day, but in different years.

There’s a theory that the car crash that inspired Kanye’s “Through the Wire” never happened and that his jaw being wired shut was a result of getting his ass kicked.

Gucci fell asleep during the filming of his s***scene in “Spring Breakers”.

Chief Keef once signed court documents as “Chief Keef”, not his actual name.

Travis Scott has a side that nobody ever talks about. One time he was in LA checking out grocies at the supermarket. In front of him was a Mom and her 5 year old son. The little boy pointed at the cover of People magazine and exclaimed to his mom, “Im gonna be a rapper like that one day!” to which the Mom replied “You will never be a rapper son, forget it already. Then Travis got down on his knee to face level, looked him In the eye, licked his lips and then looked down at his feet, “Don’t listen to her, keep trying hard and you’ll be the best rapper of all time someday.”

That little boy grew up to be Nav.

T-pain recorded akons “locked up” version and called it “fucked up”. It was so bad that Akon personally pulled up on him to confront him, but at that time t-pain was flipping burgers at Burger King and Akon felt bad for him so he signed him to his label. This is the polished version but what he recorded was apparently horrible. There’s also an interview about it with Akon and tpain
