    Where do we start the "Indie" period? If it's post the year 2000ish, then maybe Suburbs by Arcade Fire. The 90s and 80s had tons of classic Indie albums too though.

    Not sure I would call albums from the 80s/90s indie albums

    Like is Third Eye Blinds debut an indie album? Has the style but it was a major label debut (most expensive deal ever at the time) and a huge hit

    indie is more about the lo-fi aesthetic and the musical influences, it's not really a synonym for any alt rock music
