It's a shame that much of the pioneers of house never really had a chance to make full albums as the scene was so underground. Also many of the very notable house DJs were gay and during the time of the house music craze the US was mad homophobic so it was like good luck to them getting record deals or the resources necessary to produce an entire project.

It's hard to find those classic albums, but you can find many classic songs at the very least. At this point I'm sure people have put together compilations on Youtube, Spotify, Soundcloud, etc.

because there are two + decades of classic house trax on 12" and so forth that maybe made it onto a compilation album or something but probably didn't so you're gonna have to dig a lil bit harder for that tune
