easily. COVID exploded a lot of the negatives of our country while being a unavoidable threat to all citizens.

Oct 23, 2020Trump was 5x better than the first debate, but Joe was 6x better, so it doesn't really help him any. Hardly perfect, but it's undeniable that Joe came out much sharper and more confident tonight.
As always, there was some prideful s*** Trump got mired in that was embarrassing to watch. The remarks about fundraising were so clearly steeped in frustration. The AOC + 3 remark was literally him rambling to nowhere for a full minute. Came across like a total a****** talking about children in cages, as he does.
And yet, I do think he calmed down a lot and didn't leave on the sour note I expected. Will it be enough? No, probably not. I think the oil industry segment was strong for him, but I don't know that independents care about that the way they do COVID, a subject which he badly flubbed in this debate.
The closing remarks said it all: Trump attacked Biden, Biden talked himself up. Trump has nothing to offer. Even if Biden doesn't either, at least he pretends to.

-Trumps failures of COVID
-Pressure on Race on trump, while at least while admitting his failures in the past
-didnt stutter, was commanding
-Great closing remark
-no gaffes, which is trumps big winner in debates- I really like the "Im not Bernie, I beat him" response. This is his party, not AOC's/Bernies (far for the truth in the future, but true for now)
-like the Hitler comparison when articulating the North Korea point.
Trumps pro
-attacks on Biden being a standard politican
-did good on cornering Biden in the fracking debate. Made Biden stumble and stutter multiple times
-Idea that Biden isn't pure with black voters. Good pressure on Crime bill and other comments.- "who built the cages Joe", Obama/biden were just as bad if not worse with ICE/immigration than Trump admin
- didnt come hot at all. Will not come over as bad to the small amount of undecideds this elections if he didn't lose them. 10x better performance than first debate.
Edit: last point but trump did win a point on pressuring Biden on the stimulus package.
Trump siad imma force the repub to take a deal. Biden did not.
You can arguing that senate repub are the reason why it hasn't been past, but Nancy Pelosi is just at fault for playing politics with the stimulus as the senate repubs. Biden should have easily said I will talk to dems to take a deal.
