No itā€™s not in the hip hop sense lmao

    stop redefining s***.

a hit is a hit and it is the same in all genres, the few country songs i know are the hits from country music and so on.

u telling me no flockin and love sosa arent hits ??? because they didnā€™t get radio play?

Why do you think the IG hits battles are happening a lot of those songs being played donā€™t even crack top 30 in bb

that's what a hit is. mainstream acceptance from all peoples.

Hip Hop hits are different then other genre hits. S*** other genres probably got they own hits of these levels but I donā€™t care about other genres

We talking about Hip Hop hits. By the HIP HOP COMMUNITY which is why that itā€™s not Far fetched that French and Kendrick could have a good hit battle, which is why we got upset when they were tryna say that Drake could easily beat Jay.

Maad City - peaked at 75
    Alright - peaked at 81
Still DRE - Peaked at 93
    Till I collapse - didnā€™t chart
Donā€™t speak by No Doubt - didnā€™t chart***

***didnt chart based on a technicality over the single not being sold physically, was number one on practically every chart outside the hot 100

Problem is people are saying s*** like ā€œif itā€™s not a hit itā€™s not getting the crowd movingā€ and weird lame s*** like that. As if Wayne mixtapes werenā€™t the soundtrack of parties in the early 2010s.

Alright isnā€™t a hit in the sense that it was inescapable or on the radio a lot, but it was impactful and I would say most people know the hook at least

    club bangers yes

no flocking is mostly unknown to casual music listeners.

"don't like" was the main hit if i am not mistaking "love sosa" is more of a b-side joint.

I care about who are actually a part of the hip hop community, thatā€™s what should matter šŸ¤¦šŸ½ā€ā™‚ļø
