Do you work at republic or something, it’s interesting how you take issue with what I’m saying. The post was the craziest s*** and made it sound like he’s way overworked and his new interview kind of paints a similar picture
Substance definitely is a factor but if that’s the case he shouldn’t be being pressed to keep being the cash cow, his team should make sure he’s not overworked and gets help but his manager proudly stated that’s not the case and promoted an album by saying “hey guys I forced post to make this s***”
You're the one accusing his manager of pimping him and overworking him because of... 1 IG post lol. Post never said himself this happened but you decided to conclude it. Then get annoyed at someone for saying it doesn't seem like it?.,,,
He has been on a break the past year and barely did absolutely anything which makes that angle even weirder to stand behind currently.
I also think if Post didn't like how his manager was managing him... he could simply fire him.
You're acting like he's some sweatshop worker with no rights.

I don’t really know his situation I’m just going off his manager’s words and post seems to even in this interview say that he’s tired of being a musician lol it’s probably not his manager at fault but post probably wants to either quit or make bob dylan music but someone or his contract won’t let him
I remember hearing Post performing on another stage at a music fest while my friends & I were was waiting for another artist to perform.
White Iverson was the only song he had released at the time and he literally performed it 4-5 times to fill in his 15min set
His drive to make music died, you can tell. Hope he doesn’t release any new albums just for the sake of it.

It's supposed to be a post (no pun) about Stoney and he's only talking about himself, making it seem that the album's success is all due to him
"our debut album"
Post would be best served dropping a mixtape and trying to build some buzz before a full album. His two singles flopped and he's in for a rude awakening if he thinks he can revert to his 2019 success overnight

I think he knows this which is why he’s doing the damage control now saying he doesn’t care about streams

I would say that no one's forcing him to drop an album but his label/manager actually might be, in order to get something out before a potential summer tour. Doing s*** like this is an easy way to flame out. He's established enough that he should be valuing longevity over cash grabs

It sounds like the opposite honestly, there’s a part in the article that implies his labels been delaying the album because they want him to add more songs but he wants a shorter record this time.

ion ever hear bout dude ever unless its music. I doubt he cares about streams he already certified. unlike Weeknd who said that s*** but be tweeting charts every day
classic
imma keep it a buck: if races were reversed, this would be lowkey considered slavery
Post also wanted to rebuke a numbers-obsessed streaming business that he has come to feel prizes algorithms over artistry. “Trying to shove 20 to 25 songs, it doesn’t work. Talking to the label it’s like, ‘Oh, if you have less songs, you’re not going to stream as much,’ but the whole thing is that you don’t want to compromise your art and your gut vibe on anything,” he says. (Earlier this month, London wrote on Instagram that Republic, which did not respond to questions about the album’s length, was holding up the album: “We did our part!” ) “I’ve made a lot of compromises, especially musically, but now I don’t feel like I want to anymore. I don’t need a No. 1; that doesn’t matter to me no more, and at a point, it did.”
He's talking about Donda and CLB lol
Post Malone is a Bob Dylan hopeful who used hip hop and took A$AP Yam$ look to get on. Next.

Absolutely. Rappers are still doing songs with dude cuz he’s a check. Mutual benefit at this point.
They better do something because that harry guy is coming to take over pop radio and pop music
Harry is coming
Jack Harlow is coming
I wonder where post fits in between them both dropping
Plus Kid Laroi might be dropping again
