I love widebodies (within reason) but that comes from my love of motorsports more likely, but i like how the lip does more for the wide gaping grill on that one specifically.

I think the new Z looks great aside from the wide gape bracefacey grill.

Nismo has announced recently that theyre doing three official versions of the new Z tho i think look great, one of them are for street public use but i forget which one. I think it does good smoothing out the few flaws Ive had with it since reveal, mainly again due to the wide blank screen grill. I like how they segment it a bit:

The first one is probably my fav version of the Nismos.

I know there was only a few modern n semi modern cars this time, I found a lot of weird, whacky, concepts & obscure cars for today's sets which is why most of them are like that this time. Some of them i knew already but most of them were new to me.

Last week i found two dope websites where a lot of them came from:

    Mainly, secret-classics.com/en/category/topics-areas/automotive-en

    But also, supercarnostalgia.com

They have a lot of info on n history, along with normal everday cars or normal super n sports cars. Lotta great stuff to read here n there, especially viewing the galleries

I think it's just the process of making it a widebody.

Ive thought about doing overfenders on my 280zx, but I can't see myself cutting into the wheel wells. I don't want to ruin a good shell.

I watched throtl take a perfectly good 2G Eclipse GSX and immediately take a f***ing grinder just to make a Fast and Furious widebody meme build. It physically hurt me to watch that.

It makes more sense if you want a widebody to just buy a salvage title car and go from there instead of ruining a good shell.

Agreed especially if the widebody is way over done, or if not for purpose like a drag, rally, drift or track car. Im not really into slammed either except the rare occasion build. And even if aesthetically it might look good/cool once in a while, I still cringe at how impractical it is & how it f***s up the suspension n turning radius, plus of course the scaping.

I like light widebodies like how most jdms do, but sometimes ppl like Rocket Bunny still go way too far tho like with their NSX kit tho. S*** is butchered & nevermind the widebody the kit aint even good in itself, RB holds a fat L for this 1 for me 🤧

N of course from factory is always nice too since its auto built into shape like in muscle & some supers.

But yeah, i like more "outrageous" widebodies for motorsports & light widebodies for aesthetic/street.

Theyre all readying n been readying up up since the newest Supra.

Nissan is finally working on the next R n finally released the next Z.

Acura is coming with a new Integra. Rumors of another NSX.

Honda & Subaru are finally updating their STI & Civic platforms (would like to see Subaru do more tho).

Only ones that are still sitting complete still are Mazda n Mitsubishi, which I would love a new Evo or a new update to Rotary but it probabaly still wont happen.

2020s are looking different compare to the 2010s for Japan. Theyre finally moving again.

The Supra is a nice car, but it’s just a rebadged hardtop Z4.

Subaru canceled the STI indefinitely. The next iteration will be electric, if they decide to go that route.

Mitsubishi barely makes cars and Mazda can’t even deliver a crate rotary engine assembled correctly.

Nissan seems to be the only one that cares, but most car companies know this is the last hoo-rah for gas engines. Most companies are just trying to cash out.

I dont have a problem with Electric cars tbh, now, especially since theyre over the gimmicky aesthetic design.

But yeah i overall agree, just glad that a good amount of them are finally doing updated/new models after nearly a decade.

Still nowhere near the glory days of the 80s to mid 2000s, but at leas its getting better than it was. As sad n simultaneously cool that is lmao.

If you want something from that era you better buy it now because prices are gonna start jumping as our generation gets older. S*** like S13s are ridiculous. People want $4k for a rotten shell and there are some that are stupid enough to pay for it. Some stuff that isn’t as hyped like Celicas and RSXs are still pretty cheap. I bought a running and driving 93 Impreza sedan for $800 with plans for a WRX or STI chassis swap.

Yeah s***s even crazy for USA cars.

C4 vettes, gen 3 Camaros & For Mustang Foxbodys are like 8 to 12k now when they were an easy 3 to 5k just a yeat to two ago

    Nissan 240sx convertible, 90s bmw 318 & a gen 3 camaro/c4 vette are what im looking at 👀

Shince the last year used cars have crazy all over the place. From f***ing ecoms/everday to super cars, s*** has 3x'd its ridiculous.

Even them 90s family Suburbans have gon outrageous

But yeah, the Electric revolution is gonna spike the gas era up so much as well on top of the covid n economy situation
