Get something with a good body/paint. Most things mechanically can be fixed/swapped in most cars. With projects, paint and body work are the most expensive part of it. Itβs hard to find anyone willing to paint a whole car because body shops donβt make any money doing it.

Iβve thought about doing paint/bodywork myself but every time I read about it, it seems the conditions have to be perfect.

Big
Been looking into lesser known not really available in the USA brands from EU n Japan, but mainly Japan such as Izusu & Suzuki, n i think i found a new love
Isuzu Impulse of the 90s:
Info - https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/threads/slowmans-1991-isuzu-impulse-rs.263189/
According to the link above there is under 2000 actual Isuzu Impulses in the USA back in 2012, never heard of it before. It was rebadged n aesthetically modified as the Geo Storm (which i have heard of) for most western countries n sold mainly as that in West territories while the Isuzu og model was rare outside of Japan.
Geo Storm:
The Geo version is ok n cool in its own right (especially the way its pop ups work, really unique n like some 60s era stuff), but man the Impulse og model by Isuzu is awesome & really good looking.
Would love one but good luck finding one outside of Japan unfortunately, n on top of that most Geos of any model are all trashed n worn out nowadays like Saturns as being cheaper rebadged (n unfortunately usually uglier) versions of the og models as economy boxes.
But yeah thought I should share this gem. Shout out Sega GT, a 2000s simulation racing game for the Dreamcast for putting me on the other day. Never seen nor heard it before.
reminds me of the subaru svx
Final set for today:
(The og Lamborghini, yes even before the Miura. Very few exist it wasnt even mass produced n was locally made. The car Mr. Lamborghini the tractor man made in a barn with a group of friends to spite Enzo Ferrari's, the og creator of Ferrari, car company. Which led to the Miura their first "mass" produced car, & then the Countach which is the model that made them worldwide famous & a true rival to Ferrari. Which the Countach is the car aesthetic that Lambos still follow today).
(Iirc, this revision is the one that was sold very limitely locally, while the one above is the og)

Oh the Geo version does look like the SVX a bit i didnt think of that, just with the trunk-like things for popups
