Some of the pleasantries of life that we take for granted. Doesn't necessarily need to be only first world privileges.

For one, the freedom to walk around your house naked (I made a thread on this before but f*** it its good enough to mention twice)

Having spare income in the bank from your last paycheck when the next payday comes around

as a male, the freedom to take walks at any time of the day or night alone without the fear of being harassed, I really feel sorry for the ladies for this one even though I don't do it much just knowing I can counts for something

freedom to hop in my car travel anywhere in the city I want at any time I want at the drop of a hat without being at the mercy of public transit

Freedom to access internet 24/7. On some level it sucks but I can access media I would never have been able to otherwise. 19th century niggas would be seething

Food,shelter, plumbing, security

These are all things we take for granted daily, making them underrated.

There are places on this planet in 2023 without in home plumbing, an abundance of food, shelter as we know it and security given the nature and poverty of the countries

Well I suppose it varies from person to person but I would assume food and shelter at least are things most people are in a constant state of gratitude for, I know I am every single day I go to sleep

You're spot on with plumbing though thats a very underrated first world luxury imagine not having reliable toilets or running water

Saying it varies from person to person is a huge understatement, these are things many in the western world do not ever think about let alone feel grateful for if we’re being real, most view it as an entitlement

Reminds me my new ebt card coming on Monday . I lost it with $40 still on it but it’s cool cause the month before that I had $200 and I spent a little over $50 and a couple days later I spent like $5 . I checked and it was still close to $200 like I never even spent the $50.
