Been on my 80s pop sample tip

Appreciate it! yea been working on finding new drum patterns
@sorryspace that main melody throughout the beat is dope. And I like your kick/808 as well. They sound clean and have a good bounce to the beat along with everything else. Overall this sounds like a banger fa sho. Only criticism is that it's a bit repetitive but the right rapper/autotune over that and that's not an issue in the slightest lol.
@baella both these vocaroos sound nuts
I was only familiar with Sophie through big fish theory but I did listen to "it's ok to cry" and the buildup in that song towards the end had me blown away. Definitely am open to recs of her work. I like the mellowness of the 1st link and the buildup with those chords towards the middle where everything comes in.
The 2nd link all I'ma say is you're crazy. You got some crazy versatility, The bitcrusher breakdown at the end caught my ass by surprise. Keep it up man.
@Nugga now you know who I'm thinking of that should be rocking this beat rn
this s*** got me sad ngl. Pop smoke s*** aside, that little singing voice in the background adds the perfect touch to this grimy haunting drill beat. That deep ass bass is highkey my favorite part of that type of production and you nailed it out of the park. Good work man.
@sakaree nice flip of the action bronson freestyle. That sample with those horns really give this s*** more life. I always can appreciate a nice crafted loop. Nice job. Only wish that kick could be a lil louder but otherwise
@Marco23 Love the sample and the way you chopped that up was f***ing phenomenal. But like mason above said, the drums can definitely use some work. Buff em up some and maybe quantize your drums a bit cause they sound a lil off beat. But that sample is tough and the potential is there.
did a lil nip tribute from last year :) (cause 2021 is just 2020 pt. 2 tbh)
