I call this "The Doom of Gods Angels". This piece describes a boy whose innocent got taken by society. You can see the darkness in his eyes as his realization and childish beliefs slowly but surely fade away. As its more of a split picture, one half is still trying to hold on to his inner child, but if you look at his facial expression, he realized theres no going back. The good memories are drifting away like a feather in air. He finally arrived in society.
Can you remember who you were before the world told you who you should be?

ngl tho art can’t be such bs sometimes
I have way more respect for the artist who admits their work just looks aesthetically pleasing and it isn’t much more to it than the ones who create some super fake deep/philosophical explanation for why they painted a canvas all red or some s***.

i can understand that position. but tbh i think any choice made in art can at least be intelligently explained even if the choice itself isn't very conscious.
but yeah its crazy once you get into those circles and realize everyone's kind of just making it up as they go along. but i think for them to even come to that bs conclusion signifies something of their mindstate.
