can’t find a decent quality full image of silent dance so here some similar lol

Seen this in person. An unforgettable experience
I had a roommate in college who was trying to be an art history major freshmen year and this was his fav painting of all time.
that’s the only reason I know this one.. tbh this painting/my old roommate is what kinda got me more interested in art esp like older art.

I find contemporary art like this to be just so boring. Trying way to hard to do a really complex and trippy composition but really is just a jumbled mess. S*** is still probably successful cause it looks "cool."

he was one of my first of a couple contemporary artist I've discovered back in highschool. I can see where you coming from and my taste kinda expanded into abstract expressionism as of now but I always liked his color choices, his graffiti cause I suck at graffiti and his collage franksteinish style.
kehinde wiley ~ saw some of his paintings in person at the SLAM

He has a couple Salome/Judith references. Love my beheading paintings.

I'm pretty decent at it rn. I know my fundamentals and I'm still constantly develop them and practice. I've been currently working on a debut series of paintings to show at a local gallery and pray that one would have a solo show for me.
it's been a huge grind and I've just been drawing atleast every day since May this year, so I got a few goals I want to work for.
Really all i need is more comfortable workflow with color mixing etc but youtube videos and books come in handy.
ktt2.com/my-art-grind-diary-2082 is my thread in creative and it has a couple of prototype paintings and shows a few pages of my sketch book.
Very important- if you ever find yourself driving past Amarillo Texas (you probably wont cause who goes to Amarillo) you must stop to see cadillac ranch. Just some cars buried in a field and a totally meditative and incredible experience.
