If I had to describe the song, it sounds like what what would happen if Fleetwood Mac went alt-country. Really obvious 70s influence but grafted onto modern indie.

Vocal booth got from ebay for $285 me and pops split it junior year of college

Mxl 990 mic is under $100 (and u can find used ones for waaay lesser than that)

Pop filter like $10 i think i actually just borrowed that in college lol.

The mic stand also borrowed from college

This vocal booth cost total under like $500 (and other than the vocal booth itself you can get everything with used, especially the microphone. Errbody talks about that shure sm7b like it’s god and maybe so…i aint got 3 hunna to bag out on that ) the “crisp sound” come from a decade plus of audio engineering in a s***ty dorm room with trial and error to the point I used to hold sessions for rappers/singers on campus and mixdown they tracks.

Wrote all the songs for our album a few years back over the course of a relationship that fell apart, made some stems and left them in my Google drive.

Last year I met my roommate and was in a band with her for a while. Her drummer and I hit it off during rehearsals and now we're Escape From L.A. I write the songs, handle the vocals and play 90% of the guitars. He's drums, bass and keys.
