Partymobile was a personal fav but I get the flaws

Come on breh people compare every r&b artist to the next. We’re still getting Frank/Weeknd and PND/Weeknd comparisons in 2020. Why draw the line here? Especially since Brent’s brand of r&b is closer to DVSN’s than it is Anderson Paak, for example.

Wasn’t a fan personally

Yeah I get where ur coming from, I just wouldn't compare them by saying like what is one artist doing better than the other cause they really aren't going for the same things

Brent's project is more stripped down with that toxic content while dvsn's is more polished and not really dark at all.

I think both the albums couldve been better in their own ways, like the song ideas could be fleshed out more on FTW and they could've left off the more generic songs and ideas on A muse.

Was pretty disappointed by the dvsn album tbh, I get that they wanted to get a bigger audience but I just feel like there were so many forgettable songs on there. It's still a decent project but I would've loved if they went more in the direction of the title track and that lil soul section at the end of Still Pray For You.

Weeknd & dvsn

Sounds more commercial for sure but its up there with the first 2 for me. Love how different their 3 albums sound but the quality is still amazing

One of the best projects this year

disappointing year for R&B, for me I was dying for new Ro James & DVSN and both were kind of underwhelming, maybe because I set such a high standard for them. Though Giveon album was great
