Unless the canvas is some painted art

It kills the purpose imo. Why hang up something that's meant to be played? Just comes off corny tbh unless like someone said earlier it's signed.

I'd say it'd be less corny if you have a listening copy, but just buying records and not playing them, but instead to hang them up, is really really cringe.

like you might as well just buy posters of the album covers versus taking a record, especially an older one, out of circulation to hang it up and it never gets play.

It's just a waste imo.
