INSPIRED BY THAT RECENT THREAD YOU KNOW WHICH ONE
ALSO INSPIRED BY THAT ONE USER, HE KNOWS WHO I'M SPEAKING ABOUT

With further progression of rap music, we came to the point where lot of compeltely different music fall under the same "rap/hiphop" umbrella
Even tho it makes sense because all these sub-genres and directions evolved from one another and can be traced to more traditional rap stuff, gap between og rap music and some of the modern takes on it is pretty wild.

This is why it makes sense to implement another term to kinda differentiate og rap/its' subgenres and these more modern branches

    "Post-rap/Post-hiphop"

This makes mad sense because it actually shows the roots of the music but shows that it's different enough

    Examples of post-rap stuff:

Bladee/Draingang autotune-heavy music and VLONE-core stuff e.g. Pierre Bourne solo music
Minimalistic post-Chief Keef music, some of Chief Keef discog too
    Probably Carti
Melodic and not-bar-heavy stuff like Gunna music
Future rnb-esque tracks, stuff like SAVE ME (post-RnB term can also be applied here imo)
    Lil Peep-esque "emo rap" s***
Travis Scott melodic-oriented stuff, e.g. Astrothunder
