If you watch the footage (new) of Drake and 40 in the studio and them talking about the beat and how Kendrick would’ve murdered that. I find it weird b/c he released that this week. He released it with No Face. He released that now instead of the original batch of footage with It’s Up. It’s Up simply sounds like his greenlight to us and the opposition that it is up. That’s it.

I think we all wondered why he didn’t post NWTS stuff in the first drop, but now that I think about it, let’s look at the dates. NWTS dropped on September 24, 2013. Kendrick’s “Control” verse dropped on August 12, 2013. That entire fiasco basically happened over a one-month span.

At first I didn’t really take Drake too seriously, when he talked about tapping phones b/c that seemed more of an extravagant rap bar than anything serious but he’s extremely devoted to documenting things and recording as much of everything and anything. All the way back to Free Smoke (2017) he talked about “Must have never had your phone tapped, all that yappin’ on the phone s***. You must really love the road life. All that never comin’ home s***”

Who is to say that the entire line isn’t about Kendrick? Him being on the road going from city to city? Las Vegas specifically and cheating on his girl? Drake literally talked about it on THP6 the distance is wild, haven’t seen the kids in six months.

I feel like there is credibility to an album for album war soon but considering Drake / Plotttwistttt still is posting gigs stories; it's their way of letting us know there’s more footage to come and I feel like we’ll see a lot of s*** that’s going to change the trajectory of everything.

Each new drop we see an uptick in energy and confirmation in a way Drake's coming with some heavy shii. Feel like it's a combination of new music, direct music, and receipts of some kind

I think he’s playing it well too. Slowly ramping it up to some huge grand finale. The first drop was brand new and the immediate reaction I saw was people loving the bts footage and reminiscing. And like you said it’s up basically was a green light. The second drop brought the nostalgia again with the NWTS clips but it also showcased many of Drake current opps and how he he used to show love to them back in the day. And the music this time took it up a notch so that now you have everyone the TL discussing: will a round 2 happen?

I’m really curious how many more drops this whole thing is. And what’s the next one? Take care footage?

definitely could be, take care footage with drake actually working with kendrick? what if there's footage kendrick d*** riding and praising drake heavy? what about footage of drake writing something for poetic justice? the next batch of footage gon be crazy
