We're at that point now but we're just rewriting history if we're acting like actual rapping was never important in rap beef
The actual rapping is always subjective, public perception is all that matters in a rap beef and that’s coming from a huge Drake fan
Here you go crying over an Internet forum and it’s not even noon yet and that’s coming from a huge Drake fan
Crying laughing? Definitely
You literally won't stop talking to me, like bro how many times do I have to say
We're at that point now but we're just rewriting history if we're acting like actual rapping was never important in rap beef
That's important but throwing dirt and doing whatever was needed to win was always more important.
nigga said ya ded then woke up to a nightmare
there's only ONE thing that bothers me though b/c that account's had 100+ followers.. i find it very very very strange NOBODY leaked a screengrab of what that account's post feed looks like. What do you think?
Yea that’s true, the only thing I can think of is all 94 followers are close with him?
Quite honestly, the last 24 hours on this forum + all the live stream from Aks + the current episode of the Joe Budden podcast clip I'm watching... I think there is no diss track
JB is making a decent point which is Kendrick doesn't have to respond and Kendrick most likely won't respond. This isn't good for Drake b/c Drake has to now ask himself how far does he have to go off his "round two" opener just to get this nigga to reply?
Aks saying no diss track, and he's talking about Drake in 5. In the context of songs, that doesn't make sense if we're referring to diss tracks, unless he's talking about the next diss track is the 5th diss track. Again, I don't think that's it.
There's something related to this plotttwistttt account and what Drake's gearing up to do
I hope this isn’t the case (depending on how Drake does it) and it’s still completely far fetched , but outside of dropping a better album, without a diss track the only thing I could see is Drake dropping evidence of his claims, whether it’s Kendrick talking or other stuff
You were also on the respond after part 2 gang cmon fam lmaoo we all can't be revisionist historians with 20/20 hindsight lmaooo
me n divine always been on one accord from time
All I think AK was referring to last night is drakes about to go on another scorpion esque run with hit after hit. That’s how I interpreted it. I don’t think there’s a round 2.
But truthfully I don’t think AK knows much if anything at all. He just knows what he hears. Which could be something, could be nothing.
Plot twist is not something by accident though. There’s definitely an end goal with it.
They are claiming a woman that Kendrick abused is doing an interview
Oh yeah they are also claiming there's a song that Kendrick made that makes MTG look pg-13 😂
whats you point tho?
My point is that he didn't need to respond, yet alone respond with a full diss track. If he wanted to respond, he could have responded on a feature verse like Kendrick or waited till he had an album set to drop and address Kendrick there.
I made a this post on April 11:
I don't think Kendrick chose this moment in time to jump out and take direct shots at Drake just for the sake of it. I think everything leading up from the cultural reception/commercial performance of MMATBS to how every song he's been on since then (with the exception of Like That, of course) had zero impact whatsoever, all led him to choosing to go at Drake because he knows that's really the only other card he has left to play. I think he knows how thirsty people still are to get them to go at it and he knows that's a surefire way to drum up some much-needed momentum heading into his next album, which I think will drop this summer (everything is a rollout).
I think his plan was was to drop the verse on Like That and have Drake jump out immediately with a response (he probably figured that'd be what happened since that's how Drake reacted to Meek and Push) and then he'd hit him with what he had cooked, grab a quick W and have all that momentum leading up to the summer.
I don't think he saw Like That being this big commercially and I don't think he even needed it to be big commercially. I think he just needed all the noise and chaos it'd 'cause, much like his Control verse did, because all of it would paint him in a good light and have his name thrown into discussions again.
I think Drake has a response ready, but after the Push situation, I think he's learned to let logic and not emotions lead when heading into potential battles with rappers. I think he believes Kendrick doesn't really want to battle but simply wants all the noise and chatter around his name, similar to what he did with his Control verse and so I don't think he feels any sort of pressure to jump out the window first. I think he's ready to do so only and if Kendrick goes at him again, preferably with a diss track, so he's sure he is serious about things. I also think part of the reason behind his silence is because he's trying to figure out how deep this s*** goes and see just how many people have turned against him and what the industry agenda is against him.
I think Drake will release an album this year where he addresses EVERYTHING and more.
Ok and how does that convey the sentiment that Drake shouldn't respond? Yes I read everything lol
Crying laughing? Definitely

tbh i blame our current social media era
the salacious details, the messiness, the DRAMA is always more important than the substance
and tbf.. i do not think the hiphop subculture exists anymore. everything is just a part of mainstream social media culture now; no gatekeepers, no lines, no structure - everybody gets to tweet about any kind of s*** and the more entertaining the tweet the higher the engagement and the more distorted the facts become
drake came into this s*** with an outdated mindset - because, yes, in the 2020s, rap is def a joke
