its bizarro land. I'm very critical and vocal about the aspects of his music I don't like. At the same time, I can be honest about the 5% (to me) of it I don't mind or even think is good. That song is so deep in the 95%.

The slow rapping, saying nothing, random bursts of that stupid "angry voice". It's unlistenable.

kendrick lamar has cornered himself to a box artistically. he can’t do anything other than conceptual albums. when he drops these isolated singles, he gets exposed badly for how low quality his music is

and when he drops those “catchy” songs like not like us, people only like it cus it’s coming from kendrick lamar. it’s a novelty thing. if YG or another random rapper made the same song it won’t get any attention

This guy is a walking contradiction. Positioning himself as being anti-establishment / pro-black and now he enjoys the benefits for himself. Nicki was right one took the knee (Kaepernick) and the other one took the bag (in this case the midget).

How you make albums like TPAB for black/brown people fighting various forms of issues/racism in society and then you go at another black rapper and call him a white dude and colonizer, want him to die AND THEN do all this other hypocritical stuff post rap beef.

This is the main issue of positioning yourself as some kind of activist, the minute the mask starts slipping people are going to poke holes in all this stuff.

He wears a thorn crown so it’s all good though.

That's why MTG never made sense to me. Kendrick allows himself to heal and change but doesn't give Drake the same luxury because he hates him.

For all the Kbots saying, "he doesn't give Drake the same luxury because Drake is a pdf file human trafficker." Well, Kendrick knew that was lie and still wanted him to die.

"It's just a diss song!" But the person saying the diss is still relevant to the situation. Kendrick just can't say whatever he wants in a diss when he has dealt with similar struggles he accuses Drake of.
