He was clearly fed incorrect information and he shouldn't have trusted anything that didn't come from Drake himself. I half expected something like this to come out soon with Thug's release and Future liking the post, just didn't expect it so soon and I believed Thug would be the one leading the charge on that after a few weeks.

Elliott clearly did this for clout because after posting the clip, he spent the next 15 hours retweeting posts about it and bragging like he was some undisputable source, knowing fully well that Drake doesn't f*** with him.

That leads me to believe Future's camp or someone else fed Elliott the information but likely told him not to say anything but his clout-chasing ass jumped the gun and now Drake is using Akademiks to make Elliott look stupid. I'm sure Mal will confirm the same thing on his pod.

He doesn't have any real access to any of the top hitters in the game anymore and it kills him. His one calling card used to be that he had a direct link to Drake's camp but Drake doesn't f*** with him anymore. Kendrick's camp doesn't f*** with him. J. Cole's camp doesn't f*** with him and I don't even think he has a link to Hov anymore.
