If I was a new artist and I found out people searching for my music were getting recommended a song completely unrelated to me I would be pissed af. If my music was in a playlist that got jumped by a song that has nothing to do with that Playlist I would 100% feel some type of way.

But a company like UMG is absolutely terrifying to take on if you're a new or small artist.

Anyone can bring a suit the question is can you finance it? Are you well funded? Are you about to do battle with Quinn Emanuel and be well equipped? Lol chances are slim.. Like let’s say that UMG feels like the petition is frivolous and they claim that no only is it frivolous put they can prove the exact opposite of the claim and they can prove that the filing of the petition hurt their reputation..

Any further petitions would be to file discovery on any further entities that acted in furtherance of the conspiracy or could provide knowledge thereof.. idk I think he got everyone he wanted atp tho but who knows he's clearly been schemin up 😉

Well first they would file a motion to dismiss in the claim they are currently in.. then if they wanted to sue someone for a frivolous suit they could sure but this doesn't read like a complaint that's going to meet the standard of frivolous/bad faith claim "claim is frivolous when the claim lacks any arguable basis either in law or in fact". The petitions here don't read as lacking in law and in regards to any gaps in facts they literally asking for discovery for that very reason. I think they'll just shoot for a motion to dismiss and if it fails settles but who knows Lucian's a bit of a legal dog
