Metro's mother passed away (tragically) in June, 2022. Drake released HNVM in June 2022. That specific project wouldn't fit Metro's style of production - heavily a Gordo, Noah, Black Coffee project. Jimmy Cooks was produced by Tay Keith, Vinylz, and Cubeatsz.

I say this to say I find it hard Drake would've 'rushed' Metro in that time period for anything HNVM related - and I genuinely don't believe Drake's an a****** who would do something like that. As much as he values Sandy, just hard to imagine him being a prick.
