People are just tired of his chaotic “rollouts” I don’t even know how anyone can say that’s controversial. I don’t think it’s ungrateful either he’s the one that started it with the stream

I guess my questions is what does the stream or WDIM have to do with the album rollout? Nowhere in the stream did he mention an album was coming soon. We don’t even know if WDIM is on the album.

Releasing music does not mean a rollout has started. He’s on tour until the end of the summer. Safe to assume we won’t get anything until then, especially if OVO Fest is in October.

I feel like that’s kind of the problem though lol. I mean yeah in the grand scheme of things the album will come and people will listen but his rollouts have nose dived from the early part in his career which makes absolutely no sense to me. At his level he has virtually unlimited capital to put something streamlined and interesting together but it’s always just vague statements and segmented pieces

I just assumed a very long time ago this was because he actually does not f*** with the label & refused to give them anything in advance. If nothing is submitted in advance it leaves room for him to continue to work on an album that was probably finished 3 or 4 times. It’s unfortunate, but that’s how it goes now.

His choice but as a I don’t think it’s the right one from a fan’s perspective. I wasn’t even really looking for the album right this minute either I’m fine with waiting but I already see the writing on the wall for the Iceman 1 stream just like with scanning the dogs daily or the CLB trailer

I agree. It’s terrible from a fan perspective but it’s to be expected at this point. It’s been the same exact thing the last 3 or 4 albums. It’s hilarious it always starts when he’s about to start tour or on tour. No need to even expect another update until September.

Yeah aside from “coming soon” or “I’m almost done” or insert any other statement from him in the last few rollouts on tour to your point lol
