Like, I'm so confused lmao. Same culture that's never given Drake props for anything? That culture?
The same culture that has spent the last year saying that Drake isn’t in the culture. Why would he be worried about making a project that appeals to them?
Like I said, no thoughts behind any of these posts. Just typing for the sake of typing.
They talk about rap fans like deep south racists talk about black people itt yikes
Your opinion is your opinion but why are you saying this like the majority of Drake's actual audience agrees with you? Dark Lane Demo Tapes is beloved as a pandemic classic mixtape. CLB, Honestly, Nevermind and Her Loss & $$$4U are all very beloved. The only project he's dropped this decade that got a mixed reception upon release and still has somewhat of a mixed reception with fans is For All the Dogs and even that project will have most Drake fans admit that it has his best collection of R&B songs for a solo Drake project.
You just be straight up lying
No lies. Like I said, within Drake's audience, all those albums are. If you wanna go by the critics, they have never liked any Drake album.
Newsflash: almost every single album ever is loved within the artist who made it’s audience, that doesn’t make it beloved
An album like 4 Your Eyez Only is loved by J. Cole’s audience, but nobody outside of that would really call that album “beloved”
You just be straight up lying
"why are you saying this like the majority of Drake's actual audience agrees with you?"
Did she just decide you were doing this?
Stupid post.
Dark Lane Demo Tapes - 14 songs.
Honestly, Nevermind - 14 songs.
Her Loss - 16 songs.
Y'all just come on here and yap rubbish. Drake has always made long projects, dating back to his first mixtapes, but he's also always had shorter, more concise projects in his discography.
Thank Me Later has 14 songs. Nothing Was the Same has 13 songs. WATTBA has 11 songs. Like what are we doing here?
Circular arguing when people do not want to find logic to good arguments. Purposely, of course.
What culture? The same "culture" thinks Drake hasn't made a good project since 2013? That culture?
*2015 and yes that culture
*2015 and yes that culture
All these culture talk trash as hell tbh. Imagine considering something you love, enjoy and a***yze not a classic because the culture says so. FOMO ass behavior
Anyways… this s*** is about to be a classic I can feel it
They in here gaslighting themselves into liking something that doesn't exist yet

You named a one off project, a loosie tape and a collab album lol
His actual albums have been bloated since 2016, almost 10 years ago.
“They in here looking forward to something from someone they are a fan of”
Is that allowed?
Is that allowed?
Nope. I better see you in the Mr morale thread hyping it up bucko!!
"why are you saying this like the majority of Drake's actual audience agrees with you?"

Idk why she acts like Drake fans are incapable of being unimpressed with his overall 2020s output, or that the ones who do think that are irrelevant

I heard it was an instant classic. They keep reminding us in the Drake threads, but not the Kendrick ones. Strange.

I mean ima like what I like regardless and I’ve liked plenty of Drake projects since 2015
But there hasn’t been a project since then that has made me feel like it was an undeniable classic and the fact that the discourse in the culture reflects that tells me that opinion is a majority take. Majority rules, the perception of the majority is reality and how history remembers s*** like it or not. No one remembers the takes of fringe loyal stanleys
Yall can hate rap fans or "the culture" or whatever you wanna call it
But drake needs a unanimous rap classic right now, not something a few dudes online irrationally love
I think he's capable, but only time will tell

I love rap fans and the culture and drake
And personally I'm hoping for a yachty collab on here
