I think people are to focused on the songs (which I get) and not enough on the symbolism and the storyline of the visuals.
I think that should answer your question.
explain me what's going on like i'm 6
I never seen an artist under a microscope like Drizz is right now.
Why do I need to know that Gervonta Davis wanted to see his shorts on Drakes jersey collection wall 😭😭😭
Like dawg it gets to a point....

People have always been obsessed with him but it's gotten to an unnatural point now.

Name a second time she made a thread about a child
When we thinking the next episode is
Genuinely think the songs he's teased and not played in CDQ are the ones on Iceman.
Supermax
Elevator Beat
Iceman Beat
Red Room beat
Everything else dont rly work on a coherent project
Most Drake albums post-2015 have not been coherent projects lmao
His last solo album has a three track run that consists of BBL Love -> Gently -> Rich Baby Daddy

Lmfao this. This is who he is atp. Those songs are damn near guaranteed to be on the album

I put so much thought into the messages
It's borderline obsessiveness
Remember who you messin with
People have always been obsessed with him but it's gotten to an unnatural point now.
MJ Dangerous Era

Seems like the point of the episodes

I personally wouldn’t be surprised if he takes a couple off the album do to the backlash

Tbf them 3 make sense lol
Tbf them 3 make sense lol
Those songs literally sound like they were made for three different albums
Is it just me that feels like this Iceman rollout is an attempt by Drake to show what it would really be like if he wanted to suck the oxygen out of the hip-hop room instead of dropping surprise albums. Thinking about it, Drake supposedly lost the beef but he’s somehow managed to make himself the topic of conversation every week. Clipse literally brought out Kendrick on stage and no one cared. Everyone was too busy talking about a Tupac chain. And that attention is causing his catalog to rise in the charts while everyone else remain stagnant. I’m not sure if it’s him trying to make a point of if it’s just an album rollout
yup, i think rn u have to take hate the same way as love, attention is attention, they cant stop talking about how much they hate him lmao, content
I might end up being wrong but I don't think any of the songs he's teased or released during these Iceman episodes will make it on to the album. I think they're all things he's cooked up right before going on tour/while he's been on tour to have some new s*** to perform.
I think the actual Iceman album is complete or mostly complete and he's just been f***ing around to see if he can make anything new that could also make it on the album before eventually dropping it. I think anything he's made recently that he feels has a real chance of making it on the album hasn't been previewed and won't be released.
None of this is new territory for Drake btw. He was cooking up More Life while on tour in Europe back in 2017 and he was cooking up For All the Dogs while on tour in North America in 2023. Both projects already had songs recorded and finished and he added some songs to them from the inspiration he got while on tour.
i see many saying the same, i want em on the album but if he has more fire cool lmao
Think for a second guys. Has an artist ever rolled out an album by previewing ONLY songs that aren’t appearing on said album?
If these were just random livestreams that had no association with the Iceman title or branding, then fine.
But these episodes have specifically been named after his upcoming album, and each one has ended with a tease that the album is coming soon.
If you wanna say that one or two of the songs won’t end up making the cut, fine.
But to sit here and say that the majority of them or all of them won’t be on the album that these episodes are titled after and promoting just doesn’t make any sense whatsoever
yeah, im under impression most of these are on album, hence playing many at Lo-Fi as a preview
ok after like five listens its safe to say for me, "thats just how i feel" s***s on any of his latest direct/hard hitting rap slaps. This s*** def miles ahead of any of the ones on FATD and surely can walk down most of Her Loss. The production is insane and he doesnt f***ing waste beats like he did on what did i miss. Loving it, could do with a whole tape of this ngl.
yeah the song is insane idk which beat i like best
Drake has a very interesting way of picking songs. He's made several songs around particular album eras that never made it on the respective albums.
Songs like Dreams Money Can Buy, Trust Issues, Club Paradise & Free Spirit were all made and released around the Take Care era but never made the album. He has similar songs that served the same function around the Nothing Was the Same era, the Views era and even the More Life era.
Songs like Laugh Now Cry Later (which was originally released as the lead single off CLB) and even the 3 songs off Scary Hours 2 never actually ended up CLB.
I'd say you never know what'll end up on a Drake album till the album is released. We've seen several tracklists for projects with songs written down that we never got to hear because he ended up taking them off the album at the last minute for whatever reason.
I don't like the bulk of the songs he teased during episode 3 but I trust that whatever ends up making the album will be solid.
dreams money can buy is literally one of his best tracks too yup
