What's "good" is largely relative. I don't think What Did I Miss, Which One or Dog House are great songs but there are people who love them exactly the way they are. Who are you tell them they aren't good?
Also, wouldn't it make more sense to wait for the actual album to be released before getting so worried?

What's "good" is largely relative. I don't think What Did I Miss, Which One or Dog House are great songs but there are people who love them exactly the way they are. Who are you tell them they aren't good?
Also, wouldn't it make more sense to wait for the actual album to be released before getting so worried?
im one person but if there’s a large majority of his FANS that are echoing the same sentiments, who do you think would be the problem? the listeners? lol im aware there are people that love this output but we also have to acknowledge he’s ostracizing a core part of his audience with these same releases
and no because i waited for FATD to release and it was largely a forgettable project with a few stellar moments

I’m really hoping that’s the case because as a long time fan these recent releases have been lazy and not well executed even with the right idea. The only close one I think somewhat deserves being on the album is what did I miss. And oh these unnecessary beat switches are f***ing annoying

FATD definitely left something to be desired for me as well, but Scary Hours 3 fulfilled that right away. He's definitely capable of focusing on a sound and making a solid project still, and from what he has said about Iceman being a 1 on 1 convo I hope he's getting introspective again

You are saying if he makes dogshit that 10 people like he should cause 10 people liked it what type of s*** is that, did you think micheal jackson had that same mindset with his legacy? Drake will die a legend no doubt but do you want to end your legacy on a fart and skid mark or do you wanna end it as someone who walked away with a lasting impression?

Fair enough but regardless, there's really nothing anybody can do about the music Drake ends up releasing. It'd be a different thing if we had direct access to him to voice our thoughts and opinions about his work but we don't and even if we did, he'd likely still just do what he wants to do anyways.
You don't have to embrace it as well but personally, I've stopped being worried about stuff regarding Drake that he himself isn't worried about.

It's unfortunate you feel so strongly about his recent output. I'd suggest waiting till the actual Iceman album drops before letting yourself feel so strongly. None of us know if these songs will even make the album.

Just like I waited for CLB and FATD, s*** loved SSS4U but I bet a 2017 SSS4U would sound better

I'm saying there are other rappers out there doing the kind of rapping these complainers like. Why is it Drake who they look at to give them what they want?
I was a massive kendrick fan during gkmc and damn. When I realized he would never rap how i wanted him to again when he released Mr Morale, I just moved on. I didn't make it my mission to ruin it for other kendrick fans.
Same with Future after the Wizrd, Vince staples after Summertime 06. I don't go into every thread to annoy their fans that they'er listening to mid music. It's only with Drake that I see this large amount of para-social hating.
