I thought that originally too, but a couple thoughts:

1. It seems INSANE to me to base your rollout on an ongoing lawsuit which was in unprecedented territory (there’s hardly any examples of case law to reference to in the past that proved it would be “successful”)

2. Surely the rollout was independent of the success or failure of the lawsuit right?? I guess my point is surely there was always plan A or plan B…?

I agree about his discography, but I would be lying to you if I told you I wasn’t hyped for something new. I want to hear his first solo project since for all the dogs. $$$4u was great but not really feeding the appetite I had expectation wise after 2024 if I’m being honest. I am really enjoying the episodes rollout so naturally I’m just excited for episode 4.

Lawsuits can take years to conclude so no way anyone would base an album rollout around it. I stg when Drake is involved all common sense go out the window

I don’t really see too much hype for new Drake music. The pretentious ice man streams have been getting poor reviews and each single keeps flopping. So who is “everyone”. Ofc Drake fans will want more music from him but the hype is pretty low.
