Hopefully he can prove it wrong by dropping a classic, but its looking like wishful thinking

We’re had our discussions but I’m pretty consistent. Love him to death and want to see him happy, healthy and making music to the standard he set for himself. As of now from the outside looking in I don’t see any of that. Kicking it with bottom tier losers like Adin reinforces that point. At this point just going to wait until I’m hopefully proven wrong

$$$ was cool but honestly I think him and Party have changed their styles so much compared to their previous collaborations on songs that it kinda leads me to believe they could’ve executed it better. Still enjoy it though.

FATD is his worst album by a country mile. Of course for Drake going to be some good to great songs but a completely unnecessary entry to his discography

HN and HL were both great (HN top 3 for me personally) and felt like he was entering a new creative prime there

Her loss Drake was something different man

I actually think 2020s Drake is a better songwriter in general than 2010s Drake

The difference is just the headspace he’s at in his life, he’s made it pretty clear that each album is pretty reflective of where he’s at at any given time

FATD is a weird one for me because it contains 5 or so songs that I’d consider some of his best, some that are just middle of the road and then some that are absolute trash. Such a mixed bag of an album

Agreed. Can’t even recall at this point what the basis was but I believe it was rumored to be a full R&B album at one point which would’ve been indefinitely better imo the rap songs on here are pretty f***ing trash all around

Agreed for sure. FATD is such a mixed bag of total gems and mid/average songs that it's frustrating to listen to sometimes lmao. If he shaved off a few tracks and sequenced it differently with SH3, FATD is a very solid album imo
