ppl sleeping on that concept acting like kendrick invented it with damn when that was just some goofy as spiritual voodoo he said to sell records and nwts was crafted that way
There's clues all over Damn about it's reverse messaging. The beginning vocals on FEAR are reversed, both Loyalty and Lust use reverse samples/drum loops, and Kid Capri literally says "We gone put it in reverse" on Duckworth. Not to mention the whole album rewinding at the end. So yes, it's crafted that way.

Both albums were stupidly marketed with that gimmick
Every album ever contextually changes if you listen to it in reverse order, neither DAMN. nor NWTS are special in that regard

what messages?
kendrick was done with the album then got the mixer to reverse a few parts and kid capri to yell random s*** over the album. thats not the same as having the concept craft while WRITING the album like NWTS was. Its in the lyrics, in the hooks, its the concept of the album.
Kendrick just added some seasoning to the album he already cooked, nothing wrong wit that but its not the same thing.

NWTS wasnt even marketed that way because itunes didnt allow reversing albums for other editions.
Do yall think we get a full rollout (interviews, episodes, streams, lead single) or is it gonna be a Monday announcement, tracklist Thursday, Table For One midnight type deal?
Assuming the album is in final stages I don’t think it’s crazy to except an announcement before Feb.

I don’t think the table for ones are a thing anymore considering sound 42 is done right?

Roulette Table for one presented by Stake
I don't think it's gonna be that deep. He also recorded the intros for Scorpion and CLB last-minute. It's probably just how he operates when it comes to intros, likely ones which are rap-heavy.
Its time for his best album

It’s hitting me we really might not get a main studio album from Drake for a minute after this

I think so too. No new albums for at least 2 years after this.

He can do hnvm 2 but yeah rap wise I think it’s all said and done. Maybe pop out every 4 or 5 years like Eminem does
I need something tonally like this man. This the bag we need

That production is so air-y I love it. A sharp departure from trap beats would be great
Wait Drake got a girl? Is this rumor bs or what
Yep. Check out that one verse from Meet the Grahams. It was confirmed BIG TIME

Bugging. Drake is going to surely sign a new major label deal after Iceman (whether with Universal again because of his publishing being in-house with them already, or someone else like Sony) and he'll want to hit the ground running. He's given literally no indication over the last like six years or so that he's wanting to "not drop" frequently. If anything, he's clowned his peers on records about them doing that exact thing. Waiting.
