when the f*** did we start praising stupidity, hip hop is the most collaborative genre, i dont find myself inspired by someone like cole who gets in his own way creatively constantly doing no features. i feel the same about tyler too with him completely producing entire albums

I’d say there’s a difference. Drake is versatile, yes, but when he does these other genres he doesn’t really change anything about his artistry to tackle them, he kinda just does a Drake version of them

Idk, just doesn’t seem like there’s too many blatant options for him and I’m not tapped in enough from the indie side to give a good suggestion tbh.

I don’t think anyone is saying Drake NEEDS features, but if he’s gonna drop a 20+ track album there absolutely needs to be features on there because otherwise it would be an extremely monotonous listen, the same goes for any artist dropping an album that long
