Drake could have easily dropped the album anytime after then if the album was ever ready to drop. The reality is that Iceman was never ready to drop in October or even 2025 because Drake was never done working on it.

Swift + Q4 Christmas/Holiday chart dominance is a very logical conclusion to arrive at.

That's just a bar. He delayed Her Loss by a week and was still able to drop and debut at #1, 2 weeks after Taylor Swift dropped Midnights. If Iceman was really ready to go, he would have still dropped last year. From week 2, Taylor's album was no longer a threat from a chart standpoint.

Suggesting Drake delayed Iceman for over 3 months because of Taylor Swift is ridiculous, especially because Drake has NEVER said the album was done or even close to being done. He's never given a release date either. All he's ever said about the album is that he's still working on it.

Even then, if Drake was done working on the album, he wouldn't delay dropping it for several months. He's known for dropping projects right after he's done working on them. Sometimes, he even drops projects that aren't fully ready to go yet because they haven't been mixed/mastered properly.

If Iceman was truly finished last year, he'd have dropped in late October or November or even early December. He hasn't dropped the album because he isn't done working on it yet. He's never been done working on it. Anybody suggesting otherwise is liar lol.

Again, this is useless to argue over because we won’t ever get an answer from Drake or his camp. The album will get here when it’s ready.

The issue here is y'all seem to think Drake is on some deadline for Iceman. He clearly isn't. I think he wants to drop the album ASAP but not until and unless he feels he's done with it. He dropped a 21-track album less than a year ago but you wouldn't know it by the way some of you "fans" are carrying on.
