You've got albums by Don Toliver, J. Cole, Bad Bunny (I have a really strong feeling that he'll be dropping a surprise-release album the week after Cole drops), Bruno Mars, Baby Keem, Harry Styles, BTS coming — all within Q1 2026. With a bulk of those albums being comeback albums, that's just too much noise for Drake to wade through. Let all those names (and any other names who might pop out with surprise albums within that time period) go.
Finish recording the album, give the mixing and mastering engineers enough time to perfect the sound of the album and in the mean time, shoot maybe 2-3 music videos, finalize plans for the tour, take some new press photos, plan out episode 4 of Iceman (if that's still happening) and come up with a short, but effective rollout plan for the album.
With his back catalog performing the best it ever has, there's really no rush to release an album right now.

Gordo does too much a lot of the time. Shouldn't be that hard to shut up and let the music speak the way every other producer who contributes to Drake albums does.
